CSGV: But she did what you recommended!

Sad case in Casselberry, Fl where a Domestic case went full stupid & deadly.

Since it happened, the Cult to Stop Gun Rights Violence has been beating the ZOMGGUNS drum. If you read the article, the estranged girlfriend followed all the recommended steps validated by CSGV: She left the abusive idiot, moved away & got a restraining order. This is enough to be safe according to the “experts” but time and again we keep finding the bloody demonstrations that it is not.

A gun may have not prevented the situation, but at least she would have had the chance to do something. But if she had actually defended herself, the CSGV would have nothing to cry about and request more blood money from its followers.

Victimhood is not sexy.

  1. “A gun may have not prevented the situation, but at least she would have had the chance to do something.”

Certainly hard to imagine things going WORSE!

Also +1 for the antis owning guns. We have lots of documented cases of Anti-Rights activists owning guns, and several who actually have carry permits.

Can you blame them? They think we’re nothing but a bunch of dangerous reactionary Neanderthals, and they keep BEGGING us to do something rash with their taunts, trolls, and veiled and/or open threats.

Sure they would. They would have spun it into a case of a panicky, ‘untrained’ woman firing unnecessarily in a dangerously crowded location, resulting in yet another tragic ‘gun death’.

Either that or they’d try to make her out to be a ‘vigilante’ because she didn’t ‘retreat’, and use that as yet another call for repealing Florida’s ‘stand your ground’ law. (and just where would she have retreated TOO in that salon?)

    1. +1. My thoughts exactly. Successful attacker with gun = “Gun Death”. Successful defender with gun = “Vigilante” + “Gun Death”. When they make their own statistics, events always end in their favor.

I wonder what reality they’re living in. It must be nice there. All their hopes and dreams fulfilled by the mighty power of rainbows and unicorn farts, and no icky guns or evil gun owners to worry about. I bet the crime rate is fantastic, around 250,000 per 100,000 subjects per year, or so.

  3. According to FBI 3 killed does not a mass shooting make. Of course the coalition to end firearms ownership (doesn’t quite roll of the tongue), I’m sure is counting the shooter who unfortunately killed others before he offed himself, as a victim of “gun violence”. I wish these idiots would get the order right. If you feel like killing, do yourself first, then…oh wait, there would be no then, perfect.

  4. 13 killed,31 wounded at Ft. Hood Texas. They were victims of “workplace violence” also and the CSGV is so proud of their policies? 🙁

    1. Of COURSE it wasn’t ‘gun violence’. The perpetrator was in the army…you know…one of the ‘only ones’ who should be ‘allowed’ to have guns, because they are ‘specially trained’.
