The Supreme Swine Files: Gabby Giffords’ Husband Buys AR-15.

Mark E. Kelly, gun-control proponent and husband to former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, recently purchased an AR-15 (an “assault weapon,” he called it)—which he now says he intended as an illustration of the need for more stringent gun laws.

Kelly reportedly bought the AR-15 and a 1911-style semi-automatic pistol at Diamondback Police Supply in Tucson, Arizona.

The Supreme Swine strikes again. I bet he did not reject the High Capacity Assault Magazine Clip that came with the rifle.

    1. He failed horribly in making any negative point.
The only point he clearly made is that a law abiding citizen of our country that has no felony record can exercise their Second Amendment rights at will.

What I find dubious, at best, is that he drops ~$2.5k in the spirit of making a point, and plans to give them up afterward? Yeah right. Sounds like someone scrambling to avoid the clearly visible hypocrisy.

If this really was his plan all along? Let this dummy be the first to get in line for anger management classes. He’s got a screw loose.

  1. “Americans for Responsible Solutions?”

I think a responsible solution to something like this would be to prohibit any politician or other individual who has publicly denounced “assault weapons” from buying one.

And also kick them out of office.

  2. I don’t get it. Why is it a problem for him to buy a gun? He’s a former officer (Navy, I think) and an astronaut. Does he have a felony record? PTSD? Psych issues – besides apparently being stricken with hoplophobia? Why shouldn’t he be able to buy a gun with minimal hassle?

If it’s a publicity stunt, it’s for stupid people.

    1. He’s former military- and according to liberal politicos in D.C., he’s potentially suffering PTSD, therefore, should not be eligible to purchase firearms.

  3. I don’t care why he bought it. He’s still a hypocrite. And these two are just Bradys, Act II.

    Both are disgusting Dansers Macabre.

  4. Yeah I’ve never understood that line when antiguners buy firearms “to turn into the PD.” I mean… it’s not like they’re turning in a bag of weed or something. Can I turn in an old microwave that I think should be banned?
