Dear Dudley Brown…

Unsubscribe means stop sending me frigging emails that I never requested in the first place.

That’s why in order to fight back I’m issuing a SECOND AMENDMENT EMERGENCY CALL TO ARMS.

If we can hit our goal of raising $72,000 in the next 72 hours, my staff will blanket targeted states with a hard-hitting digital ad campaign EXPOSING the records of anti-gun politicians.

Hard hitting digital campaign? You mean Spam? You need $72 K to send Spam?

We ain’t sending you money, OK?

Now fuck off.

Thanks.

      1. I just sent them an email stating what we need to do is stop the illegal voters, not spend more money on ads (which I doubt that’s where the money is going anyway).

  1. I tried to send a msg via their website but after filling in way too much information and my request to quit spamming me (again) and clicking send, was treated to a reset because the page was idle too long. So I called the number provided and the woman that answered played dumb. I told her I was Patron member of NRA, Life member GOA and life member Second Amendment Foundation but would not give to her because she could not tell me ONE THING NAGR has done for gun owners.

  2. Just got the follow-up one pleading for donations because the antis have BILLIONAIRES funding them who will certainly out-spend the pro-gun side unless we all chip in.

Sorry, Smokey. The pro-gun side doesn’t have a Bill/Melinda Gates, a Michael Bloomberg, a Nick Hanauer, a Paul Allen, or any wealthy Hollywood celebrities willing and able to put up seven figures on a political crusade (no exaggeration: Bloomberg alone has put up a total of $2.6 million to get I-594 passed in Washington State, single-handedly out-funding ALL of rival initiative I-591’s support). The anti-rights side will ALWAYS be able to out-spend the pro-rights side.

What this basic truth means is this: We need to be smart about how we spend our limited funds. A $150,000 spam e-mail campaign (that any idiot could throw together for free) is NOT a good way to spend gun owners’ hard-earned money, and may just serve to piss off politicians even more than ol’ Dudders has pissed off gun owners.
