Even James May can learn proper Gun Safety.

You may remember that James May, one-third of the defunct Top Gear had a major Gun Safety violation some years back.

Apparently he was taken to the woodshed and taught the Four Rules with enough vigor.

This is Mr May holding a Sten Gun the proper way while filming their new show.

See? Even boring Old Brits can be taught proper Gun Safety 😀

  1. New show?!? About gorram time I heard about this. I love when the Social Justice Bullies get shown to be huge jerks, idiots, and, well, bullies. The fan base for Top Gear is huge and worldwide. It even has fans like my own mother, a woman who doesn’t care about cars but loved that smeggin show. It sure was better than most of the dren on television these days.

I can just see Clarkson in that outfit saying, “smoke me a kipper. I’ll be back for breakfast.”

    1. To be fair Clarkson is a huge ass, and was way out of line when he belted that producer. What is not fair is that they make national news out of it, when other ill behaved BBC personalities that lean left get a free pass. It is a classic case of selective enforcement.

The flip side of that coin is I love watching Clarkson *because* he is a huge, funny ass who does not take himself seriously, and makes fun of himself as much as he makes fun of other more deserving targets. . . And he did admit he was wrong about the whole belting the producer thing. . .

    1. He’s been shooting. He actually spent time on a ranch…doing actual cowboy stuff….and they gave him a rough time….but he didn’t complain.

  2. Yes, Clarkson is an ass… but at least:
    1. He’s at least partially self-aware of that
    2. He did apologize for being an ass in that instance
    3. He is an entertaining ass
    4. He DID injure himself punching Piers “my own country knows I’m a phone hacking hack so I had to find work across the Pond” Morgan.

  3. Oh God, the Polar Special. I cringed, hard, at that scene. I know a lot of their stuff is scripted but the Polar Special is one of their least scripted stuff. And yeah, the USA Roadtrip to New York also featured them on a range, doing drive by shootings of the ex-Stig (and romantic novelist, Ben Collins) and apart from Clarkson pretending he was in a John Woo film, Hammond and May were taking it seriously.

Then Clarkson finds out how hot brass is when he gets one in the arm.
