All is well

That is pretty much the new message coming from the Gun Control side regarding the brutal loss in Virginia.

I have no problem having the Opposition voluntarily burying their collective heads in the sand. When the enemy is making a mistake, do not correct them.

Update: Apparently I was wrong. Gun Control had nothing to do with why they lost, hell it was not even in the electoral radar this year.

  1. “Sturtevant got more raw votes in Powhatan than Watkins did four years ago. Guns may well have played a role, ”

But I thought guns had nothing to do with it? It seems the WaPo is talking out both sides of their mouth, so to speak. I love the way the gun haters think they actually won something. Nothing like convincing your sheep (followers) that you won some great victory. You could hand them their own ass in a bushel basket and they would still claim they were the winners.

  2. Always glad to help –
Gun control advocacy did not sink Democrats’ chances of taking the Virginia state Senate this week, pollsters for both the state party and a gun control advocacy group argue.

Everytown for Gun Safety, a group founded by former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg, put more than $2 million into two races Democrats needed to win to take control of the upper chamber of the state legislature. They won one but lost the other, a seeming rebuke of a campaign focused on tighter restrictions on gun purchases.

“This election is a clear repudiation of Governor [Terry] McAuliffe and his out-of-state supporters like Michael Bloomberg,” Virginia GOP Chairman John Whitbeck said in a statement.
Seems the attitude on carpetbaggers has not improved over the past 150+ years.

But it’s strange to hear that gun control did not play a part in the election – all of Gecker’s ads included a statement that Sturtevant was opposed to background checks and against closing the “gun show loophole”. On top of that were Bloomberg’s Everytown spots featuring Andy Parker, the father of a reporter killed on live TV – who just before the election went full retard and made threats to beat up the State Senator from Franklin County http://wsls.com/2015/10/28/washington-post-va-sen-william-stanley-says-andy-parker-threatened-him-on-facebook/

Yep! Gun control had nothing to do with the Virginia elections.

    stay safe.

  3. Funny. McPike won one of the safest Democrat district in Virginia. And the mere fact they had to dump money into his campaign to out-fund his opponent meant they were scared Northern Virginia would be represented by Hal Parrish, the popular mayor of Manassas.
