Hear Ye, Hear Ye, Floridian Peasants! Crumbs are being offered by thy legislators!

We got shafted by RINO Anitere Flores. We are being blackmailed (if not pre-shafted by Senator Garcia. Senate President Negron has not responded to emails sent by Floridians, hell not even the autoresponder seems to be working.

But fret not! We are being offered selected putrefied morsels for our enjoyment. Behold HB 779: The “Open Carry is still Illegal but not too Illegal and we are gonna fine you because the State wants Money.” bill. This bill will hit you with a $25 fine if your garment happens to uncover your sidearm the first time, $500 the second time and we will make it a misdemeanor of the Second Degree the third time which entitles you to a sixty day vacation at the local dungeon and another forced contribution of $500 to the State’s coffers..

Then we have HB 849 which tell politicians and cops that where you pray and where you take your kids to school are different places even if they are in the same property as it seems that if a house of prayer has a room where they teach knitting, welding and tactical baking then your house of prayer becomes a Gun Free Zone.

Don’t you agree that this two soupçons of legislation should make us all festive and applaud the magnificent efforts of our Florida legislators? Me neither. Open Carry and eliminate Gun Free Zones is what we want, period!

Pay attention you sumbitches of the Florida Legislature: This year we came for the promised award-winning BBQ and you are serving us day-old McRibs with a side of soggy fries.

You best get to some fancy cooking soon. The little dollops of crap are not acceptable.

  1. “What we’ve got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can’t reach… So, you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it! Well, he gets it!”

Maybe it is time to increase your engagement? Does your State Senator have a local office? Some place you can express your concerns civilly and face to face to a real live person? Visiting the capital on business?

Can you get a bunch of friends at the gun club to make a video to remind him how many of you will vote for the other guy? MN GOCRA visits the capital in St. Paul en masse every session. IGOLD does the same thing in Springfield IL. It reminds them who shows up to vote.

    1. Same with the Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL). We have a Lobby Day every January when all the critters gather in Richmond.
If I were on Good Old Florida, I’d go up to Tallahassee — you betcha! (I’m a Florida boy)
I sent emails to Tallahassee, but they don’t seem to get them.
When I send an email here, by golly, I get a reply!

There is plenty of people in South Florida that would love to harass out legislators, but it is the 8 hour drive that screws it for most. Sadly, we need at least some way to pay for transport.
