Heh. I think my first tacticool gun will still be an AR though, so the SPORTS drill will be drilled and drilled and drilled and drilled until its second nature.
Then again I got used to the heft of the M16A2 from ROTC so a full size rifle and not a carbine is right for me.

BS that drill. Simplicity is the key in any weapon’s platform. Whenever you get your M4gery, let me know and I recommend good instructors.
That’ll be awhile. I want to save up for an Enfield or some other bolt gun. There’s the appeal of WWII weaponry for me.
Randy Cain has a defensive rifle class for bolt action guns. I’ve been told it is the most fun you’ll ever have with a gun like that.
Ahhhh, that sign is bogus. Everyone knows they make accessories to do all this for you.
ROFL!
LMAO
Mine would be SPORS. My AR is old enough not to have a forward assist.
SPORS? Wasn’t that what was written in the Roman’s banners? That is a VERY old AR

I was taught and told never to tap or otherwise use the forward assist, it’s a redundancy and a malfunction-inducer.
