Chardon School shooter is not liked by Anti Gunners

He did not use an AK 47 with 100 round banana clip. Instead he used this:

which comes with a 10 round magazine.

Seriously, how are they going to do their Blood Tap Dancing & Fund Collecting with such a puny un-scary gun?

  1. By the time they get done with that Ruger Mk 2 it’ll have a suppressor, extended magazine and a night vision scope.
Oh, and don’t forget the “cop-killer” Teflon bullets….

  2. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them use the angle of “.22LR is ridiculously inexpensive and available in bulk through your friendly neighborhood Walmart.”

  3. I notice that most of the anti-rights cultists went peculiarly quiet on Twitter once the news came out that the firearm was legally procured (by his grandfather – the shooter stole it) and that it was nothing more than a piddling .22.

So much for “ZOMG EVIL ASSAULT WEAPON” or somesuch nonsense.

  5. It’s certainly a gun that tries really hard to meet the Brady requirements. The manual of my 22/45 actually tells me that at one step in field stripping, I may need a hammer.

  6. Ol’ Jean was giddy that a teacher WITH OUT A GUN got the kid. Yea, well the kid prolly ran out of ammo (you know, those TEN round mags) and the courageous teach got damned lucky.

  7. It’s hard to overstate how poorly suited a .22 round is for people. That teacher stood a pretty good chance, even if the shooter had a few rounds left.
