The Gut Feeling confirmed.

So the Kid approaches me last night as I was with another co-worker  and with a great amount of urgency asks me when can he take the class so he can get his concealed weapons permit.  As I try to come up with the words to let him down easy, he launches on a tirade about something it happened to him and his child earlier that day.  It seems that while at a park with the Kid and a couple of friends, a particularly big sporting sphere flew by near them and the standard fare of cussing between Group One and Sport Sphere Group was initiated. Somehow and after a couple of minutes of trash talking, the ball was launched back at them and missed the Kid’s head by inches which prompted physical retaliation by one of the Kid’s friends.The next thing coming out of the Kid’s mouth was a description on how he would have fed the ball-tosser Mountain Oysters made out of his own genitalia.

Before he could utter another word, I told the Kid that in my opinion he was not ready to carry a concealed weapon. He was not happy to say the least and asked me what I meant by that. I reminded him of the conversation we had earlier and asked him what was the first thing he needed to shed in order to carry a gun but he could not remember so I refreshed his memory: EGO. I told him again that he could not let his ego dictate his actions and that he demonstrated not enough responsibility during the events. He got angry (another bad sign) and asked me what would have I done different if somebody almost hit my son with a ball. The answer caught him by surprise even though for us is obvious: get the boy and leave the area as fast and as far away as possible. He blinked hard, I guess it never entered in his brain that keeping a child safe might involve something other than blasting some caps on some schmuck. I drove the point home by telling him that what i just heard did not show a concerned parent seeking the safety of his progeny but a hot headed youngster who was dissed, had his ego “damaged” and wanted immediate satisfaction even though it was not the smart thing to do.

The sad part was that the Kid still didn’t get it. I was staring at his eyes and that brief moment of surprise faded quick. No light-bulb-moment-of-clarity illuminated his obtuse head. I think he just thought I was being a scared and ornery old fart who did not want to get in trouble.  And he is right, I am afraid for him, for his kid and for innocent bystanders if this guy ever gets to carry a weapon. More likely, if the Kid gets in a situation, his child may have to visit Daddy at a grave site or at Everglades Correctional Institute or even at Raiford State as Daddy waits for the needle.

I keep seeing this cute imaginative video in some obscure Spanish language channel on DirecTV. It is titled Human Right #6. You Have Rights No Matter Where You Go.

The first time I saw this, I could not help but laugh heartily and sourly. The image of an SUV with a couple of U.N. morons stopping a bunch or armed thugs is just too much. I mean if we were talking about a weekend sale at the local child prostitution house, I have no doubt that we would see a caravan of US-taxpayer funded SUVs making a beeline to get in on the special or maybe even running it themselves.  But the idea that any of those morons would actually get themselves in harm’s way to save some innocent soul represents a huge stretch of the imagination or like our current stateless Secretary of State said once “it requires a willing suspension of disbelief” and I might add in industrial proportions.

To trust the United nations with your safety is like trusting Lorena Bobbit to check you for a hernia.

Miami’s Overtown an example of the New Slavery.

It is a common theme down here in Miami-Dade County. Drive-By shootings, executions, armed robberies and the same old creeps from the County jump to blame Assault Weapons, the NRA, We The Rednecks and every stereotype they can think of. But the 500 pound gorilla that they so desperately try to ignore is the fact that probably 75% of the nastiest and ugliest occurs in the North East corner of the County. Now, if you are one of those Politically Correct types, it is time you stop reading, contact the local ACLU and post the word RACIST in the comment section. By the way, I am a spic so good luck making the charges stick

As for the rest, that corner awash in crime is what we generically call Overtown and is populated mostly by black folks. Maybe history in a couple of centuries will record that at the par with slavery, the biggest crime committed against Blacks was their degradation by politics, culture and pandering to the lowest morals by pseudo religious leaders.  What the hell happened? How did the Democrat Party, the historic representative of the Klan all of the sudden became the “voice” of the Black people? This is the party that voted against Kennedy’s Civil Rights Act, historically created the most draconian state gun control laws aimed directly against blacks and they even have one surviving Klan member in congress!

However that happened, the consequences are here and might take generations to fix.  In Miami-Dade, the highest concentration of violent crimes including rape and murder are in the Overtown area. Drug trafficking is rampant and open intimidation of witnesses and whole neighborhoods is commonplace.  Icons like Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, Carver Washington and Jackie Robinson have been set aside by gaggle Gansta Rappers celebrating drugs, rape mayhem and murder, by scum bucket- race baiting preachers like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton who have no shame in creating racial incidents out of thin air to extort money and achieve notoriety and by an amazing number of political folks of the same skin color that actually love telling the Black Community that everything is owed to them and they should not have to work for a damn thing thus officially creating a culture of beggars and malcontents when things that are not promised never reach them. All these and more festered a sub-culture of irresponsibility, murder and immorality that has taken over and now “represents” the Black community. It is now their image as false and unjust as it might be.

For the folks that adopted this culture, reality eventually rears it ugly head and set its jaw on the unsuspected targets. If a black male somehow survives its teens to the culture of death and depravity and wants to change its way, have a family and become an honorable member of society, chances are he won’t because he has a criminal record of some sorts. Almost a hundred and fifty years after the Emancipation Proclamation, this black male finds himself a second class citizen without any rights or very restricted. He might vote in some places in some he is denied. But in each and every State of the Union he is not allowed to legally own a firearm for self-defense, he cannot live in a household with a firearm so even if his family has a clean record, they are subject to be victims by proxy. The Sub-Culture has chained him with more effectiveness than any slave owner could. He and his family are now Victims till the day they die. That is a sad sad way to live.

We have a Generation’s worth of Black Race being shut out off our Bill of Rights and that is a crime. If we somehow stop it now, it is going to take another generation to erase the consequences of the Sub-Culture. But where do we even begin? I confess I have no idea. Were up against powerful forces that are making too much money and deriving too much power out of having untold millions of people dependent on the Government and  false Prophets.  And they are good at defending what they do by flipping out the Race Card if anybody has the testicular fortitude to call on the “failures” of their alleged civil rights struggle. Something has to be done against those who claim to fight for the Have-Nots but are the ones that created them in the first place. They are the New Slave Owners and their helpers the New Overseers. We, all of us, black, white, brown, yellow, whatever… AMERICANS,  must fight them somehow.

PS: And warning to the Latinos. You are next on my list.

The Dan Rather Protection Act or how to clamp down on bloggers.

Snowflakes in Hell calls attention to the new Federal Trade Commission’s Guides Concerning the Use of
Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.  This is creepy to an insane degree. Read it with calm and you will see that the vagueness in its language sometimes brings out specific and scary targeting such as:

Thus, a consumer who purchases a product with his or her own money and praises it on a
personal blog or on an electronic message board will not be deemed to be providing an
endorsement.21 In contrast, postings by a blogger who is paid to speak about an advertiser’s
product will be covered by the Guides, regardless of whether the blogger is paid directly by the
marketer itself or by a third party on behalf of the marketer…..For example, a blogger could receive merchandise from a marketer with a request to review it, but with no compensation paid other than the value of the product itself. In this situation, whether or not any positive statement the blogger posts would be deemed an “endorsement” within the meaning of the Guides would depend on, among other things, the value of that product, and on whether the blogger routinely receives such requests

Example. My buddy Dale is a dealer for EOTAC and I do buy from him regularly as I can. My next purchase will be a pair of Vickers Duty Gloves because I attend sometimes SFDCC Rifle Drills and my hands end up a mess after two hours or so of rifle manipulations. Now, if Dale ( a third party) decides to give me the gloves cfor free and I just write a review of them in this blog, whether I give the gloves a praising review or a truly destructive one, I would be in violation of this FTC directives.

An advertiser’s lack of control over the specific statement made via these new forms of consumer-generated media would not automatically disqualify that statement from being deemed an “endorsement” within the meaning of the Guides.

Do note that there are no guidelines set so the FTC hound dogs can pretty much decide how much is too much the way that ATF does with its lab stuff. So it will be basically decided on a Case by Case issue and probably in every case the result will be a screwed Blogger.

It gies much more than just that. The Guide explains how Government shouldn’t care if this new reulations curtail Freedom of Speech for Blogs (cleverly disguised in the statement “interfere with the vibrancy of these new forms of communication”), or that if somebody gets hurt by the product because he or she is too stupid to breathe without the use of a diagram, the injured party might be able to sue not only the manufacturer but the advertiser, blogger and everybody who ever mentioned the product.

It gets MUCH worse: we gonna be siccing coppers on you dirty Blogger!

And although industry selfregulation certainly can play an important role in protecting consumers as these new forms of marketing continue to evolve and new ones are developed, self-regulation works best when it is backed up by a strong law enforcement presence.

But what really takes the cake and provided for the tittle of this blog is the following statement:

The Commission acknowledges that bloggers may be subject to different disclosure requirements than reviewers in traditional media. In general, under usual circumstances, the Commission does not consider reviews published in traditional media (i.e., where a newspaper, magazine, or television or radio station with independent editorial responsibility assigns an employee to review various products or services as part of his or her official duties, and then publishes those reviews) to be sponsored advertising messages. Accordingly, such reviews are not “endorsements” within the meaning of the Guides.

That means they are the Chosen Ones, The Professionals. The great minds that gave us the Exploding Pick Up Truck (with the help of carefully hidden rockets), the Great apple/dioxin scare (we are all gonna die because we eat them Granny Smith apples!) and let us not forget the Bush National Guard scandal brought to you by CBS, Dan Rather and the 1960′s fake National Guard documents made in Word for Windows. They are the reliable ones and should not be punished for sponsoring items, ideas or anything else, even though they get more freebies than a quarterback after winning a championship game.

There is no doubt this document and intentions behind it. It is censorship b y economic hardship and threat of police busting down your door because you may have gotten a Sham-Wow for review. It is also the first payment on the Newspaper and Other Traditional Media Rescue Act (soon to be followed by your taxes) because that way they weed out the competition and rescue advertising dollars.

Is this the Hope and Change you voted for? I hope that you are happy now. Please leave any comments before I get shut down. I just got some Papa John’s Pizza coupon in the mail and, since I mentioned the company and product, the feds may bust my door in the near future for violating FTC BS.

THERE IS A MAN WITH A LEGAL GUN AT A POLITICAL EVENT! OH MY GOD!

That has been the cognoscenti reaction to New Hampshire and Phoenix. where law abiding citizens had the unspeakable gall to legally carry firearms in the open. Immediately the race card was brought into play (“You know them rednecks just wanna kill our black President!”) but MSNBC pretty much shredded it when it manipulated the video of a man with a rifle at the Phoenix rally and vapid newsgirl Contessa Brewer explained that “because people feel like, yes, there are Second Amendment rights for sure but also there are questions about whether this has racial overtones. I mean, here you have a man of color in the presidency and white people showing up with guns strapped to their waists or to their legs.” Unfortunately for the MSNBC Race Card players, other outlets (Mostly Internet) showed that the alleged racist redneck was in fact a Black Gentleman.

After that colossal failure, the “reasonable” crowd of reasonable morons entered the fray. “Well yes, you do have a right but is it reasonable to have a gun at a politically charged event? What if…?” The Reasnoally Afable Idiots want to point out that tempers could flair if a gun is brought to such an emotionally charged event and bad things could happen.  HELLO? There are no “what ifs” here my dear moron. There were TWO EVENTS WERE WEAPONS WERE PRESENT AND NOTHING HAPPENED! q.e.d.

I know, it is obvious, but some people need to be foresmacked with a cricket paddle to loosen up the gears inside the cranium and process the information right in front of their noses.

Now, should I scare them and inform them about the people attending these rallies and carrying a concealed weapon? I better not, they would not look their best if their bowels loosen up in front of the camera.

This is getting scary.

Attention Subjects: You are not to contradict what comes from the Government. Your elected representatives not only do not represent you anymore but actually order you to do their bidding forgetting that they work for you. Dissension must be curbed by ridicule (calling it AstroTurf as in fake grassroots) or to denounce it by emailing the White House and snitching on the dissenters. Just to be sure that these disruptors don’t take over Town Hall Meetings with their pesky questions, Union volunteers are now sucking up all available spaces in any room a Town Hall meeting is being held and removing (by force if necessary) those heathens who dare to oppose Obamacare.

In order to obtain my concealed weapons permit, I had to take a class, be fingerprinted, photographed and checked by the FBI. I am certified not to be a criminal or an habitual consumer of alcohol or hooked on drugs.

However, we have alcoholics, self-admitted drug users, bad check passing corrupted officials in Washington that by virtue of their own “human mistakes” exude sympathy, simulate regret and posture for forgiveness in order to get re-elected. At best they would be suspicious and put on hold if they apply for a CWP. Yet they feel that they are smart enough to legislate my disarmament and to rely on the police which has no duty to protect me. Or they confiscate my earnings to bail out companies that they themselves set up to collapse with previous laws while paying for bodyguards and guns to protect them from the crime in D.C. which is nothing more than a failed experiment in the social engineering of Gun Control.

If a man with a gun kills 30 people, he’d be hunted down, prosecuted and given a free ride in the Needle Express while the corrupt Washington politicians renew their war cry for more gun control and increased infringements on People’s rights. But when a member of the Media Bordello publishes a story that ends up killing 30 human beings, he gets away with a lame excuse and claims the protection of the First Amendment while its clients in Washington cover them and pamper them and no thoughts on Laptop Control even cross their minds.

Maybe it is time that we kick D.C. off the Union of These United States. We have no reason to secede but we can be choosy about who we have in the Union.
