Medicinal chemicals are now running through my bloodstream so my brain is pretty much playing with modeling clay, crayons and round-tipped scissors. Hopefully I’ll be better tomorrow with new posts, including a AAR of the best stage (IMHO) of the Florida IDPA Triple Crown .

Oh yes, about the Triple Crown. I had to DNF because of my back. I was slow as expected, but accuracy was pretty damn decent. I am still smiling at the 25 yard headshot I managed to make.

They are right now at Ft Lauderdale Executive Airport, but they have a full schedule all over Florida so far.

Flight Experiences Donations are $425 per person aboard the B-17 or B-24.
The B-25 is available at select locations for flight experiences. Flight experiences on the B-25 are $400 for forward fuselage seats, and $325 for waist gun

Flight training in the P-51 is $2200 for a half hour flight, and $3200 for a full hour. All participants will get the chance to feel what it was like to fly one of the most legendary fighters of WWII.
This is a P-51 configured for 2 people!

Walk through tours of the aircraft are $12 for adults, and $6 for children 12 and under for access to all of the aircraft.

WWII Veterans get into the ground tours at no charge.

Felons attempting to buy guns at gun stores are violating 18 U.S.c. §§ 92 which is punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment and/or up to a $250,000 fine. That means the following:

• 500,000 indictments for violation of 18 U.S.c. §§ 92.
• Up to 5 million years of prison time if all were found guilty.
• Up to 125 billion dollars in fines.

Call me crazy, but those numbers would be outstanding and worthy of the front page of any newspaper or leading story in the 6 O’clock news. Have you heard anything like that? Nope. And you won’t because the dirty little secret is that the NICS check is notorious for giving false positives. In 2009, NICS issued 71,010 initial denials and when all was said and done only 77 cases were presented for prosecution. That is 0.1 percent of the initial denials or in plain English, 99.9 percent of the denials were wrong.

So, if you are going to throw stats out there to support your point of view, make sure they are logical and not propaganda tools for shock value. You might get shocked back.
