Total capacity on the gun clocks in at nine rounds. Overall length of the shotgun measures 41 inches, and the 590A1 weighs 7.25 pounds, unloaded. Other features of the Retrograde model include a metal trigger assembly, metal safety selector, bayonet lug and recoil-absorbing buttpad.
Imagine looter wannabes turning the corner and seeing one home owner sporting a shotgun with a bayonet, specially the one used in WWI for the trench guns of the era.
Of course, this is for the younger among us that can carry it. I am going with the Mossberg Shockwave and a green laser.

I’ve often thought one of these would be helpful for hog hunting in Missouri.
I like the way that looks, but I am going to stick with Magpul stock and forearm stock on mine. It really reduces felt recoil for me.

Sold my old ’74 Wingmaster to a buddy at work. It just sat in the closet. Hated to see it not being used. He will hunt with it so it was a good sell. Had been researching the 590a1 and had set my mind to ordering one. The very same day this became available. Have one on the way. All purpose, special duty, don’t even think about it shotgun.
I wonder if they handle Aguila Mini-Shells? I’ve heard with some actions they don’t feed well. They are nice in my KSG (12+12+1) and they seem to function as well as 2 3/4″ shells.
There is a gadget you place in the receiver and you can feed the mini shells like they were regular… gotta find that thing.
