More than 6.8 million doses of the J&J vaccine have been administered in the U.S.

We need to “pause” because there is a 0.000088% chance that somebody can get clots after receiving the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. This is only an issue because Europeans had troubles with the vaccine and in proper Governmental fashion for Powers That Be Across The Pond, they decided that it is easier to create more panic and thus, more control by halting the vaccination and locking down people till the “problem” is studied and possibly fixed. And God knows how long will that take.
Dear CDC: If you need an excuse to keep yourself a top of the food chain, at least come up with something original (maybe quadruple masks?) and stop importing stupidity.

Herd immunity threshold is now 107%, and can be attained only through vaccination – naturally-acquired immunity doesn’t count.
The vaccine isn’t to protect you, it’s to protect other people. But it doesn’t protect other people either, so the lockdowns must continue.
The vaccines are absolutely safe for everyone, including pregnant women and people with autoimmune disorders, and anyone who questions their safety is a heretic who must be stoned to death. Oh, and a 1-in-a-million adverse reaction makes this vaccine far too dangerous.
Quick, pivot to systemic racism! Everyone must now wear a mask that covers the entire face. Also gloves, to cover the hands. All skin and hair must be covered, and all speech must be processed through electronic masking devices to erase racial cues.
To the ruling class, we’re all just NPCs, and keeping us faceless and locked in our caves furthers their goals.
So I just became eligible for the vax last week. I am not opposed to getting it, I don’t think it will make me grow gills, and I don’t think any implanted microchip a) exists or b) would allow the .gov to track me any better than my cellphone that I willingly pay to carry around with me in the first place.
I wasn’t able to sign up for an appointment last week because of technical difficulties in the scheduler, which was to be expected since they opened the vax to everyone over 16 last week.
Then, over the weekend, “they” start saying that the vax is only good for 6 months and then you need a booster. What the actual hell? This hasn’t been mentioned in the past, and now that 1/3rd of the population has had it, they suddenly spring this extra shot on us?
So now I’m thinking that I won’t get the vax, not because I don’t trust it, but because it’s going to be incredibly inconvenient to keep up with all the sudden new requirements.
Just ignore what “they” are saying. Instead of paying attention to them and letting that discourage you from protecting yourself, just ignore the morons and get the vaccine. The likely answer is that it protects you far longer than they are willing to admit.

With a baseline incidence of around 1 in a thousand, somebody explain to me how you even IDENTIFY an additional 6 cases in a population approaching 7 million?

What exactly is the percentage of people who develop blood clots for any reason? About 0.2%. Versus those that get it from the J&J vaccine.
If you look strictly at the percentages, if you want to lower your chances of getting clots, get the J&J vaccine. (Yes, I know that is not how it works…)
