Ukraine applied to join NATO a long, long time ago.
We told them NO, because they were too corrupt and needed to clean their act up. Then every political grifter in the US and Europe descended on the country and looted as much as they could, then overthrew an elected President of the Ukraine in 2013.
You mean the Putin puppet installed by Putin in a KGB-faked “election”? If I remember right, there were protests and he fled to his master, after which the Ukranian people held a real election. Meanwhile, the puppet has not been heard from since. Serves him right.
I would argue that *both* elections were rigged but by opposite sides. 😀
I said it and I say it again: there are no good guys in this scenario. The “west” is just at fault as the Russians.
Sucks to be Ukrainian right now but at least you get a free AK out of it.
