In Illinois I had to get a FOID before possessing my guns, but a least I didn’t have to sell them to a dealer and buy them back to get them.  With my FOID I could just bring them across from Indiana in my truck.

At this point Elon Musk could offer me a million dollars a year and my choice of UCLA coed interns as my own personal dick washer, I still wouldn’t take thr job.

It’s been a while since I visited the issue of campus carry.

I’ve covered idiot professors claiming that campus carry infringes on free speech because they are afraid that gun carrying, conservative students would hear that Mao was a good guy and shoot up the place.

Of course, what we’ve actually seen is progressive students and student groups threaten conservative students with violence.

This time it was writer* Jesse Farrar who made a clear and compelling case for campus carry.

*Farrar has written articles for garbage online magazines like Deadspin as The Beer Idiot.  Technically, he gets paid to write, so that makes him a writer, but his work, just like soul, is utter shit.

Yes, you read all of that right.  This person is actually advocating that professors murder conservative students over ideological differences.

I see now why professors are scared of campus carry.

Prof: “Mao was the good guy.”

Student: “Professor, Mao starved 50 million people to death and murdered millions more in show trials.”

Prof: *Attempts to murder student for challenging Communist ideology.*

Student: *Shoots professor who is trying to strangle him.*

At least Farrar had the balls to admit that he’s for the mass murder of people he disagrees with.  It allows the rest of us to understand exactly what kind of person he is.

Nothing says Progressive like convincing people your ideology is right by filling graves with everybody that disagrees with you.

There are people that say every time Trump says something petulant that Trump is playing 3-D chess while the Democrats are playing checkers.

I can’t always believe that.

Every once in a while, I do believe that Trump is a master level Troll.

This is one of those times.

Trump’s State of the Union was fairly popular.  There were some points in it that were nothing but patriotic pablum.  Something so easy to like that there was no way it could be turned against him

The honoring of Preston Sharp, a boy who planted flags on the grave of veterans, was one of those moments.  Every American should have been able to say “good job Preston.”

The Democrats had their assholes so puckered with #Resistance that they couldn’t even applaud that.

It looked bad.

So… fast forward.  It get’s leaked to the media that Trump wants a military parade.

I honestly doubt that.  His Secretary of Kicking Ass Defense is James Mattis.  Mattis isn’t the parade type.  The parade was never going to happen.

What the news of Trump floating the idea of a parade did was make #Resistance fall all over themselves to #Resist.

I have kids.  I also have younger siblings.

Sometimes kids will do or say things to try to get a parent’s attention.   Kids don’t come out and say “why don’t you love me?”  They will act out in a way to get you to show them attention.

This story that Nancy Pelosi tells (I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt that it’s true) isn’t beautiful, it’s tragic.

This is a little boy who listens to his mom and grandma and the other voices in his world and has come to the conclusion that they don’t love him because he is white.  If only he were brown like his Guatemalan friend, everyone would show him love and attention.

Pelosi’s grandson has ingested the rhetoric and had developed pathology.  All he wants to do is be loved but GamGam loves the brown kids she stands up and defends for 8 hours, not him.

This story has created more white nationalist than anything Trump could have done.

This kid needs some help before he becomes a neo Nazi or overdose in a San Francisco alley.

I made some comments on a LGBT website on the Publix PrEP story.

This is what I learned in the last 24 hours.

HIV is not a gay disease but not covering PrEP is homophobic.

That my insurance which costs me $250/mo on the family plan and pays $15 for birth control means gay people are subsidizing my condom free sex life.  So, I should have no say in a gay person who pays $125 in individual premiums getting $1,300/mo in PrEP.

It’s fair to pay for PrEP foe years on end because gay people pay for health care coverage for our kids for years too.

“Live and let live” does mean “you have to pay for my lifestyle.”

PrEP is like gay reparations for what Reagan did to the gays back in the 80’s.

Because I disagree with the gay community on PrEP  (I said over and over that I’m fine with Truvada for post exposure treatment but using it pre exposure is like taking Tamiflu every day during flub season) I am a stupid, ignorant, homophobe from bad breeding, with no education, and I should “educate myself.”

My wife, my kids, and I all “deserve” HIV.

I’m just a “breeder” and a troll and gay people’s lives none of my business, even in I have to pay more because of it.

What they don’t seem to know is this. Y cousin died from HIV.  Technically from the HIV strain of pneumonia, but still.  He caught HIV during an anonymous hookup on South Beach.  Believe me, I know all about the gay culture of Miami Beach.  Some of it is truly disgusting.   Hint: don’t go into a public beach bathroom after dark. 

I still don’t think that PrEP is worth the cost.

It will only encourage more gay men to say “you don’t need a rubber, I’m on PrEP.”  How do I know?  Because there are already gay men who say “you don’t need a rubber, I’m on AZT.”  Because the myth is that you can’t spread HIV if your viral load is low exists.

What I learned is that there is a left wing part of the LGBT community that is the gay equivalent of BLM. They hate straight people and you have to pay or be broken because they are historical victims.

I don’t care who you have sex with.  It’s none of my business.   I will not be bullied because I won’t agree to pay for your lifestyle.

The Tesla Roadster and Starman SpaceX lances supposedly missed it’s trajectory to Mars.

I don’t think so.

I think Elon Musk is on a search for the Loc Nar to use its power to defeat Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg.

The Loc Nar describes itself as:

I am the sum of all evils. Look carefully, my power infests all times, all galaxies, all dimensions.

That sound like both Amazon and Facebook.

Without the power of the Loc Nar, Musk has no chance of becoming emperor of Silicon Valley.

I can’t be the only person who saw the launch of Starman and didn’t think of this.

A Black Lives Matter activist was killed at 1:30 am in New Orleans.

The man, Muhiyidin Moye d’Baha, was famous for stealing a Confederate Flag during protests in Charleston, South Carolina.

Already, the supporters of MDA have decided that the killer must be a white supremacist and is Trump’s fault.

As of yet there is no evidence to that or even a suspect.

Here are some things we do know.

From 2017, the homicide rate in New Orleans was higher than Chicago or Baltimore.  The NOLA black homicide rate was 25.75/100,000.  Historically, black shooters were responsible for about 95% of the murders in NOLA.

So…

Could a white supremacist have recognized  Muhiyidin Moye d’Baha from pictures taken in 2015 of him taking a Confederate Flag from a protester and decided to get revenge?

Could he have been followed by a white supremacist from Charleston (where he lived)  to New Orleans to be murdered for role in a 2015 protest?

Or could he have been the victim of random black on black crime after midnight, in a bad neighborhood, in one of America’s most dangerous cities?

At this point I am reminded of a British aphorism, which is usually a version of Hanlon’s Razor: “cock-up before conspiracy.”

Only time will tell.  However, in the absence of evidence I’m sure we in polite society – particularity those who are white, legally own guns, support Trump, or all three – will be blamed for this assassination and hate crime.  

We will know if (that) it turns out to be just random NOLA street violence, when this story vanishes like a fart in a hurricane, because above all else the narrative has to be preserved.
