Cocks not brains

Cocks Not Glocks has decided that in an effort to be taken even less seriously than they are now, they want to intercede in the plans of some neo-Nazis to march in Whitefish, Montana.

You read that right, they want to fight neo-Nazis with clowns.

Local human rights groups tend to follow Michelle Obama’s maxim: “When they go low, we go high.” But shaving your head and toting a gun and calling your antics “the revolution” isn’t exactly “going low.” It’s absurd. And Anglin’s neo-Nazis aren’t literal Nazis. They’re just dicks.

It was an epic troll that defused tensions and reset the narrative. “These absurd things speak for themselves,” Jin says. “Why would we need to add to the noise and shout over it when we could just put a spotlight on it?”

Neo-Nazis have suffered similar humiliations. In Charlotte, North Carolina, one 2012 march was met with counter-protesters dressed as clowns and delivering the message, “You look silly.”

Good plan, good plan.  Have a bunch of Social Justice Warriors show up to face off against some armed neo-Nazis dressed as clowns brandishing dildos.  That is only going to end well, with some hearty belly laughs and the neo-Nazis slinking home defeated.  It’s going to be like an 80’s teen comedy movie and is in no way going to be a temptation for some white supremacists to relive Mississippi in 1964.

I remember reading about another group of brave Americans who stood up to Nazis while wearing face paint.  I don’t think they were dressed as clowns though.

Because there is nothing new under the sun, I am aware of another advocate of marital aids who also stood up people violently hostile to the idea of Jews living where they wanted to live: Dr Ruth Westheimer.  When she stood up to the Egyptians and Jordanians, she wasn’t armed with a big rubber penis, she had a sniper rifle.

Q: What is Yiddish for “get out of my desert?”

A: 8mm Mauser

Now I’m not advocating getting into a running gun battle with some neo-Nazis in small town Montana.  They have the right to march, and if they cause trouble let the cops handle that.

I’m just not sure that a bunch of angry, armed, neo-Nazis are going to be intimidated by college kids waving rubber dicks.  I don’t take Cocks not Glocks seriously, why would the Nazis.  You want to show bullies that you are not afraid of them, you show them that if they hit you, you are prepared to knock them down and kick them in the kidneys until they piss blood.

If Cocks not Glocks wants to make fools the themselves in Montana, that is their right.  If I were going to make a show of things, I would want to make it clear that if the neo-Nazis actually posed a threat to my family, I would go absolutely fucking Bear Jew on them.

More Pulse denial

I was going through some of Everytown’s old posts and notices two more covering Pulse Nightclub related stories that completely whitewash what actually happened for the benefit of the Liberal narrative.

and

The first links to this article in People MagazineFloat with 49 Roses Honors Pulse Nightclub Shooting Victims – Plus All the Details from the Rose Parade!

The massive float featured a bed of roses with 49 white stars. A large, white dove sat above a pair of rainbows near a large oak tree.  Forty-nine people were killed and at least 53 more were injured at the gay-friendly hot spot in Orlando, Florida, when a gunman opened fire there on June 12, authorities have said.

According to People, authorities said the shooter was a random gunman?

The later post links to this article from ESPNFC, Orlando City dedicates section in stadium to Pulse shooting victims.

Major League Soccer club Orlando City on Wednesday unveiled 49 rainbow-colored seats in section 12 of its new stadium as a tribute to the victims of the Pulse nightclub shooting.

On June 12, 49 people were killed at the Orlando nightclub when a lone gunman entered the establishment and opened fire.

Orlando City chose the rainbow colors with the hashtag Orlando United on each seat to represent its mission to be an “inclusive, diverse and welcoming community.” The rest of the seats in the brand-new downtown stadium are purple and white.

When I first saw this post I was tempted to make a joke along the lines of, if any sports team in the Orlando area was going to come out of the closet, it would be soccer.

But I just can’t get over ESPN’s “lone gunman” description of the Pulse shooter.

People, ESPN, and Everytown are contorting the truth to avoid using the term terrorism.  We know that the Pulse shooter was an ISIS inspired Islamic terrorist.  The antis and Left leaning media is doing its best to gaslight the nation into forgetting that this was another act of terrorism and instead a random mass shooting.  They need the Pulse shooting to be an excuse for gun control and not warning that we need to have better counter terrorism surveillance of Americans who travel to the Middle East and consume Islamist materials online.

Blinding ourselves to the truth because it is not a nice truth for the Left, e.g., Islam is a religion of peace, the problem is easy access to guns, ins’t just how you get Trump, it’s how you get more Pulse style shootings.

The Left is pushing a message that is going to sacrifice people on the alter of political correctness.  It needs to stop.

Expert opinion

Moms Demand Action and Everytown complain ceaselessly about the fact the the CDC and NIH have limited Federal funds to research gun violence.  Then they go ahead and post an article from the Economist stating that the AMA (American Medical Association) claims that Stand Your Ground laws increase the homicide rate.

Outside of the Bloomberg echo chamber, this is exactly why the CDC and NIH shouldn’t be doing research on guns.

During this same period, the crime rate in Florida and other SYG states has been decreasing.  How can crime be going down but homicides be going up?  That makes no sense.

Except… not all homicides are murders. As it turns out, most of the increase in homicides are justifiable.  A lot more bad guys are being stopped by CCW permit holders.

Even the notoriously biased Politifact had to admit that the crime rate went down after the implementation of SYG with a “half true.”  Half ture is the highest truth ranking that Politifact will give to a truth that would favor conservatives.

True that the decrease in crime is not only due to SYG.  There are many other factors at play.  But SYG did not increase the crime rate like the antis said it would, so they are going to hang their hat on the fact that it increased the overall number of people shot.

Outside of their bubble, most people won’t shed a tear when some potential rape victim takes out their rapist or some store clerk puts a bullet in a stickup man.  We know that means there is one less rapist or mugger out there that we have to worry about.  Only the antis wring their hands about the fact that some criminal is rendered room temperature by their intended victim.

This is why headlines are: “Stand Your Ground linked to an increase in homicides.”  If there was a tie between SYG and an increase in murders, they’d say so.

This is the kind of important information that law enforcement statistics handles.  Instead, a bunch of antis in white lab coats are only concerned about the number of people shot and killed and not the circumstances surround that number, such as justifiable defensive shootings.  Sorry, but that is relevant information to me.  Having some MD tell me that SYG is bad because more people got shot won’t turn me against guns when the full story from law enforcement  is “more people got shot, but most of them were baddies.”

The article by the AMA is just distorting the facts.   This is why gun violence shouldn’t be studied by the CDC/NIH/AMA/etc.,  it is lying while wearing a lab coat.

Sugar coated

I keep seeing trailers for the movie Patriots Day, about the aftermath of the Boston marathon bombing.  It stars (the felon and prohibited person) Mark Wahlberg as a Boston police officer.

I wonder how Hollywood is going to show the uncomfortable truth when police shut down the city of Watertown, drove armored vehicles through its streets, and sent SWAT teams to do Forth Amendment bending (arguably breaking) door-to-door raids on houses, looking for the bombers.

Yeah, I know, the bombers were caught in the end, but that still looks like something that shouldn’t happen without a warrant in the United States.

Reality Check

First a bunch of modern artists announced that they will go on a “culture strike” for Trump’s inauguration.

Now a bunch of poets are going to do an extended poetry reading to protest Trump’s inauguration.

Watching all of these people pitch an extended hissy fit about Trump makes me wonder just what would happen in an alternative universe if Hilary won and Trump supporters went on a protest strike.

Food production would grind to a halt.  Construction, manufacturing, mining, and drilling would stop.  The coal and gasoline would stop flowing and very quickly there afterwards the lights would go out.

It would end with a bunch of artists, poets, Hollywood jagoffs, and liberal arts majors standing around in the cold and the dark, hungry and miserable.

I can live a long an happy life without ever having to hear some special snowflakes winge into a microphone.

I wonder how long they will survive without power, water, and food?

Bloomberg Youth

Moms Demand Action leader Shannon Watts wrote a listicle for Teen Vogue: 7 Things You Don’t Know About the NRA Gun Lobby and What You Can Do About It, The NRA may be more influential than you realize.

It is as bad as you think it is.

1. Blocking research to better understand our nation’s gun violence crisis and how to solve it.  No, congress has stopped the CDC and NIH from wasting time and money on studying gun violence as a pathology.  Guns are not germs, they don’t spread disease.  The FBI, DOJ, ATF, and other Federal law enforcement agencies study gun crime as a matter of crime prevention.

2. Making it easy for felons, domestic abusers, and even suspected terrorists to buy guns by continuing to block efforts to close deadly loopholes in our nation’s gun laws.   Even Democrats came out against no fly, no buy, since they realized how dangerous losing your civil liberties by  being put on a secret watch list can be.

3. Stalling efforts to close the “boyfriend loophole.” It’s true that some domestic abusers are prohibited from buying guns, and they can’t pass a federal background check when they try to buy a gun from a licensed dealer. But there’s a big catch: An abuser is only prohibited from buying a gun if currently married to, formerly married to, has a child with, or lives with the victim. To make matters worse, the law also fails to protect against dangerous stalkers.  Domestic violence is a special consideration in the law because the victim cannot easily escape their attacker.  If the victim is married, cohabitating, or shares a child, it is not easy to leave a personal finances, a home, and child behind.  A boyfriend who is not cohabitating and is not a co-parent doesn’t need special consideration, there is nothing tying the victim to the abuser.  If the guy hits you after the second date, you leave him.  Of course, if he hits you after the second date, you know what that is?  Battery, and a felony conviction for that makes him a prohibited person.  Also, if you are being stalked, a restraining order will make him a prohibited person too.  MDA wants you to believe that beating up someone you are dating but not living with is a legal jackpot where you can do it and not get in trouble for it.

4. Pushing a “guns everywhere” agenda to allow guns in K-12 schools and daycares, on college campuses, in bars, and in airports.  No one is forcing guns to be everywhere.  The law is saying that permitted CCW holders shouldn’t have to negotiate a patchwork of gun free zones in their day to day lives.  If you have a CCW, why should an arbitrary line take away your right?  On one side of the street you are in the City of Gainesville, on the other you are on the UF campus.  A student with a CCW should be able to walk on both sides of the street.  Among antis is the idea that I can only describe as hollowed ground, that some places are special and having guns in them is extra wrong.  If I pick up my kid up from daycare and I was safely carrying before I got there and will safely carry after I leave, why is the daycare special?  If my gun stays in my holster, on my person, and nobody but me knows I have it on me what is the risk?  Or is my gun going to leave invisible gun cooties at daycare that will infect the children?

5. Promoting gag orders that restrict doctors and military leaders from discussing gun safety with parents and service members at risk for suicide.  No one in the NRA wants to see soldiers hurt themselves.  The bill blocked was never about just talking to vets about guns and suicide.  It was about allowing the military to confiscate privately owned weapons in off-base housing.  It is true that a gun is used in half of military suicides, but everybody on the Left was focused on the NRA wanting to protect the private property rights of off-base soldiers and not just how bad President Obama was fucking the military with a shoddy VA system that was delaying care for vets with mental health issues for months.

6. Propagating the myth that more guns in more places is the best way to stop gun violence. After the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, the NRA’s executive vice president infamously said, “The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.” The truth is, data does not support that argument.  Maybe CCW can’t stop every shooter, but the Pulse shooting, San Bernardino, etc, kept happening until somebody with a gun stopped it.  There was no mass shooting in Chicago after an Uber driver took out the potential shooter before he could begin his rampage.

7. Marketing guns to YOU — regardless of whether it’s in your best interests.  Oh god no!  Not a group trying to expand its base, we can’t have that.  Telling women that they might be interested in exploring their civil rights is terrible.  Especially in a magazine that teaches teen girls that they are fat, ugly, and unpopular if they don’t buy the fad diet, makeup, hair products, and clothes that the magazine advertises.

This of course isn’t Teen Vogue’s first attempt at anti gun nonsense for the non-critical thinkers.  Over the years several other bits of Bloomberg agitprop have been posted on their website.

Reasons It’s So Easy to Buy a Gun in the U.S., Our country’s lax firearm laws are literally killing people.

1. The only real restriction is your age.  Because, like voting, it is a Constitutionally protected civil liberty.

2. Unlike a car, you don’t need a license.  You need one in Illinois, it’s called a FOID.  It’s not doing much to curb the Chicago homicide rate.  Besides, do you need a license to go to Church or post your thoughts on the internet?

4. If a background check takes more than three days, you can still buy a weapon.  A right delayed is a right denied.

5. Suspected terrorists can buy weapons, even with a full background check.  Again with this no-fly, no-buy bullshit.

7. Guns are easily available on the internet.  Let me know when I can order a 1911 off Amazon and have it shipped Prime to my house.

5 Things That Are Harder to Get in America Than a Gun, Like a Puppy.

4. An Abortion.  In 38 states, Planned Parenthood requires minors seeking abortions to notify their parents and obtain their permission to end a pregnancy. Abortions can also cost up to $1,500, whereas most guns cost less than $1,000.  A minor can’t buy a gun with a parent’s permission.  Also, as a parent I’d be pissed if my child had an invasive medical procedure without my knowledge.  Lastly, so is the complaint here that guns are too cheap or abortions to expensive?  This last one is a non sequitur for the non-critical thinker.  Also, if you get federal funds for your abortion, I better get federal funds for a new gun.

Gun Violence Research Gets Less Funding Than Any Other Major Cause of Death, This is due to a lack of funding and academic research.  Enough with demanding that anti-gun activists in white lab coats tell me that gun violence is a disease.  Leave gun violence to law enforcement.

These listicles are filled with the worthless half-truths, lies, and distortions that can turn the ignorance of hashtag activists into an angry mob.  This is how you end up with adults that hear NRA and post this crap online.

That’s deep.

The NRA is more powerful than the DNC?  Really?  No, she’s right, she and every other “right thinker” is a victim of the NRA.

Yep, a pro-civil rights organization is identical to an anti-civil rights organization.  Really perceptive.

Buzzfeed politics was so helpful to her cause this election.

Another deep thinker.  I wonder if Time and Newsweek use too many big words for her?

This is vacuous worthless information that makes the reader more ignorant about the issues and therefore more reactionary.  I guess that is why it is aimed at teens.  Get ’em while their immature and dumb and they’ll stay that way forever.  It’s worked so well for the Left Wing special snowflakes so far.

Very convincing

A bunch of artists I doubt anybody who reads this blog has ever heard of have decided that they are going to go on a culture strike on January 20th, to shut down museums of modern art, to protest the “normalization of Trump.”

I’m fine with them shutting their museums down on January 20th.  They should be shut down even longer to protest the “normalization” an unmade bed, Tilda Swinton taking a nap, or a big fucking rock as museum quality art.

I doubt anybody who even remotely supported Trump gives half a shit about modern art.  But if Trump’s election makes these kind of elitist “more money than brains” types who think that they are better than the rest of us because they can find deep meaning in a mason jar full of piss super butthurt enough to shut down their museums and gallerias, I’m willing to make Trump president for life.
