Five cops vs one unarmed man trying to field goal kick hid head off isn’t trying to force compliance, that’s murder.
Cops have the authority to use force to control you, but 5 armed assholes beating one guy laying on the ground is not authorized. Holding a limp rag up so other assholes can hit/pepper spray/kick, is not authorized. IMHO, it was 1st degree murder.
I have lost my confidence in Branca’s analyses. Too bad.
