Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

  1. “Eight years on the job in this politically correct nanny-state swamp and the first thing they say to me after I shoot a guy is ‘Well done, Kevin!’ Maybe there’s something to hipocracy after all.”

    Indeed, well done, sir.

  2. I wonder if his carrying routinely is part of the requirements of his position as Sergeant at Arms, or if its just a fortunate accident of fate that he’s retired law enforcement.

  3. The original role of the Sergent-at-Arms in the British system was a the chief of security in the House of Commons. Later the role gained the duties of keeping order during house debates and doing administrative work. It has largely become a ceremonial role by the 21st century. Wednesday’s events in the Canadian Parliament show that despite all the pomp and circumstance, the Sargent-at-Arms really is the guard of house. I am glad that we has armed.

  4. Kevin Vickers needs to come to Ferguson and have chit-chat with Sen. Jamilah Nasheed’s staffer, Eric Vickers. He has been quite busy making threats regarding the soon to be released Grand Jury decision of PO Darren Wilson.
Pardon my French, but that prick should in a cell for inciting a riot!

  5. sfcmarkc – One of the reports I read stated that he had to go back to his office and grab the gun out of his desk.
