1. Behavior like that deserves a beating.

2. A few months ago a firearms instructor was killed by a little girl who couldn’t handle the recoil of a 9mm sub machinegun and there has been more than one case where somebody has accidently shot themselves or somebody else with a 500 S&W in a 500 S&W “recoil double tap”.

   This act isn’t just rude and dumb, it is downright dangers and has and could get people killed. It is, in my book, worse than casually muzzling people at the range because rarely does anybody casually muzzle people for laughs.

3. should be penalized by shooting 50 12-gauge magnum shells in a row, non-stop. While bracing the stock with their balls.

4. I’m 6ft and a buck seventy, and I’d think twice before using that. I wouldn’t think twice about slapping the shit out of whoever gave it to her and thought it was funny. And I am perfectly capable of backing up that promise 🙂

   I’d be surprised if she didn’t sprain or pull something, in addition to maybe getting bashed in the face.

   When I take people shooting, we start on .22s and go up, and I warn them at every step as we move up about the recoil. Most people will reach their level of tolerance and back down one step. I’m fine with that; I want them to enjoy it, and we non-masochists do not enjoy getting beat up by the gun we’re trying to control.

   And a bit +1 to cargosquid’s comment. 50 12-ga. magnum shells, with the stock braced against their balls. We’ll see who laughs.
