I have a friend who is currently trapped in Kabul. I last heard from her yesterday morning as she and her coworkers were trying to burn classified documents and destroy electronic devices.
Its been refreshing to see the liberal talking heads in the MSM go hard on Biden for this clusterfuck, but the real test is going to be when Americans start getting thrown into prison or executed. If the MSM plays it down to avoid the really negative exposure for the Biden regime, then we’ll know that bi-partisan criticism only goes so far. If there are that many Americans there, plenty can be executed on TV while others are kept as bargaining chips. I guess worst case is we have to go back in and push the Taliban out of Kabul. We better keep that airport secured.
The Democratic party captive media (don’t dignify them with the label “main stream”) are going to disclose the absolute minimum and criticize to the minimum extent required to avoid going bankrupt. So yes, they will “play it down to avoid the really negative exposure”. Such exposure is emphatically not their mission.
Keep reading the WSJ opinion pages (the news pages are becoming less reliable) and Fox News — neither is perfect but they are much closer to honest.
