The Declaration uses long words they wouldn’t understand, like “usurpations.”

My right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness, and my right to DEFEND my life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, from any thugs, psychos, crazies, or other dangerous individuals, will always trump your desire to “feel” safe. And any attempts on your part to threaten my life and liberty, whether via legislation, litigation, bribery, threats, intimidation, falsified criminal reports, or any other means, will be defended against by necessary and appropriate force.
Besides which, the right to bear arms is specifically reserved in the Constitution. “Life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness” is not.
Don’t start none, won’t be none. If you’re planning to go to war, you should make sure your side is the one with the guns.

How exactly does what I own impact their pursuit of life, liberty and happiness? They never seem to explain that part.
Because n their mentally deranged minds, the very fact that you legally own a firearm makes them unhappy and puts you in a category lower than violent criminals.

When you phrase it that way, the reason why should be painfully apparent.
It’s worth mentioning to them that “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” are in the Declaration of Independence (as you say, Miguel), but that the right to keep and bare arms is an enumerated right in the constitution. In terms of the law of the land, the 2A takes precedence over what they list.
You are righ, but it would confuse the crap out of them even more.
Remember in the liberal mind the accusation is far more important than anything else, so despite no evidence or even a law to violate all guy owners are guilty. They have already proposed putting us all in a consentration camp, I say we take all of Texas right through California and make all the libs move out of the state.
If their ability to enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is threatened by my innocent ownership of firearms they need to look at their own problems first.

I could just as easily say that concealed carry of their male equipment is a threat to me and my children because of risk of rape and pedophilia.
