CSGV Virginia Tech 8 years.

Just a yours truly post from the past:

“I’m sure the university community is appreciative of the General Assembly’s actions because this will help parents, students, faculty and visitors feel safe on our campus.”
Virginia Tech spokesman Larry Hincker in January 2006 after a Campus Carry measure was defeated in the Virginia Assembly.

Seng-Hui-Cho proved Mr. Hincker’s statement was deadly wrong on January 16, 2007.

  1. With respect, Hincker wasn’t wrong. I’m absolutely sure the parents, students, faculty, and visitors felt safer on campus after the Campus Carry bill failed.

Whether they were safer, on the other hand….

  2. The fact that not one person could defend themselves that day at VT has converted many over to the side of allowing carry on campus in VA. Many of the students that day hid under their desks as the bastardized walked up to them and shot. Playing dead or using a desk wasn’t much protection. The momentum has been going our way with every crime committed against students reinforcing the push for campus carry. Even with an anti-rights governor and the dem party elites holding onto gun hatred, the democratic voting citizens are abandoning that line of thinking.
