Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

  1. 1 – General Lee
    2 – Bandit Trans Am
3 – Captain American Easy Rider Harley

Yeah, yeah, I’m more hard core redneck. Jeeps are nice and all, but you gotta go with your true love.

  2. Loved that opening scene in “The Rat Patrol” when the Jeeps come up over the rise getting a little air time.

I was very fond of the CHiPs Kawasaki bikes.

    1. ETA: if it must be a land vehicle, that actually existed in some form, then…
      .
      Landmaster from Damnation Alley.

  3. Cyclone motorcycle from Robotech New Generation. Granted, it’s a cartoon, so I don’t know it technically counts. And yes, the concept is completely absurd in reality, but it is from a cartoon. Though it is originally a Japanese cartoon where they get ridiculously technical describing every tiny little part on anything even though very little of that technical stuff ever gets into the actual show.

But as for a car from an actual live action show, probably Max’s car. The last of the V8 Interceptors. God, I loved that car as a kid.

    1. Dude, if you’re going pick a cop car, then the Blues Brothers 1974 Dodge Monaco Cop Car is the bomb! Plus you don’t have to get used to the right side driving position.

Of course I’m just upset I didn’t think of that first. Still going with General Lee though as my first pick.

  4. We had a surplus jeep on our ranch when I was a young lad. I was driving by myself by the time I was 8. We had a trailer too. When I was in uniform, I was one of maybe three people in my company (in West Germany) who could back a jeep/trailer combo in a straight line. I was also driver for our company XO during REFORGER exercises in ’76. Good times.

  5. My first thought was KITT from Knight Rider. Rat patrol is a good one as well. Clearly I need to ruminate on this some more, particularly considering the state of the world in general and my beloved USA in particular!

  6. Any vehicle? Not restricted to ground vehicles or actual functioning machines? I’ll take an Ambassador-class startship as seen in Star Trek: The Next Generation.

If it has to be a vehicle that’s somewhat grounded in reality (i.e., it “played” by a real vehicle, but SFX and plot enhanced it) then I want the titular helicopter from Airwolf.

If it has to be a real vehicle that actually works as is, then I want either Emma Peel’s Lotus Elan from The Avengers or Aki’s
Aki’s Toyota 2000GT Open-Top from You Only Live Twice.

  7. Given “any vehicle” (not just ground vehicle) I’d say Rolf Nelson’s Tajemnica. Failing that, I’ll take an HMMWV.

  8. Ah yes, I went the same way. Now to ‘add’ some fun, put a good quality mannequin behind the 50 in back, and drive it through DFW traffic! Amazing how ‘cooperative’ the other drivers are (no, I didn’t do it, but a buddy did for a militaria show)… LOL

    1. Oddball’s Sherman tank from Kelly’s Heros. It’s been specially modified by his mechanical genius Morariaty. And…..it plays music as it drives into battle

  9. Any or all in no particular order:
The 2 man flying mini-sub from the “Seaview” submarine on Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea TV show.
    Luke Skywalker’s X-34 landspeeder,
the Coyote X from Hardcastle & McCormick.

    1. The Beast. Red Dawn, original or remake? Then I think there was another movie with Dolph Lundgren as a Russian in Affie.

  10. My first choice would be a m-35 2.5ton all wheel drive truck with wench. Followed by a apc from WWII. Final, an m1a2 with full load out.

Hard to fight it by myself but I’m sure I could get the blue haired fairie to drive out run the turret.

Of course bb-64 would be fun

  11. I’m sure there was a fully armored MRAP in some movie. Maybe The Hurt Locker. If not a fully armored HUMVEE, with turret mounted Ma Deuce. With a wench.

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
