McMurray was a candidate for the same seat in 2018. He lost the general election on November 6, 2018, after advancing from the primary on June 26, 2018

There were times when the law required everyone carry a gun to church. How did they manage that if the guns were locked up?

The general gist of so many of the gun grabbers is:
1) The word militia is in the 2nd amendment
2) Therefore the word militia is what the founding fathers really meant when they wrote “The People”
3) Everybody knows that the 2nd amendment protected the right of the STATE (and now federal government) to have guns.
4) The NRA bought a bunch of judges and politicians in order to get the courts to create, from fantasy land, “the right of the People to keep and bear arms”.
One of the consistent actions of the “left” is to fight for changes in laws or policy. While they are fighting for the change, whatever the policy or law is must be wrong. Then they finally get one win, they might loose a hundred times before then, but they win once. At the point where they “win” it becomes the law of the land and can never ever be changed.
While not a firearms issue, if you look at the gay marriage battle in California, the question was put to the people multiple times. The people rejected it, multiple times. In the end the people of California modified their constitution to say that “gay marriage” wasn’t legal in California.
The left took that to court and a court in California ruled that the modification to the CA constitution was “unconstitutional” against the CA constitution. I have a hard time wrapping my head around that. They ruled that their constitution was unconstitutional.
Since that court ruling, “gay marriage” has been “the law of California” and anybody that dares to question that is just wrong. It’s the law don’cha know.

Haha, I live in the district (NY27) where this meatball is going to try to win. He ran last session and lost to Republican Chris Collins, and the only reason the race was close was that Collins is under Federal indictment for insider trading. NY27 is a largely rural, very conservative district. The last go around, McMurray tried to pass himself off as a moderate. Since his loss, he’s become completely unhinged and has dropped all pretenses of being anything other than a furious, radical left wing nutjob. He’s not going to win in the next election, either. His social media history will seal his fate.
