Eff them! The biggest risk comes from unaddressed medical issues (co-morbidities) like obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes (Type 1 or Type 2), or immune suppression due to therapy for an implant or a transplant, etc. See your physician. Verify that your Vitamin-D(3) levels are good. That vitamin controls inflammation from an infection that causes blood clotting and nasty things like heart attacks, stroke, and/or pulmonary embolism, none of which are good. See your doc. “Treat-’em if you got-’em”. Wash your paws. Quarantine if you have to. Work out a plan with the guy/gal in the white coat. The most important things are simple stuff, but you have to know what to do and then do it.
