Miguel, I’m sure glad you are willing to spend the time sorting through the Twitter sewer so I don’t have to. It’s amazing some of the stuff you and your co-blogger find out there.
I can’t help the feeling, when reading verbal diarrhea such as the above tweets, that the authors don’t really understand the meanings of the words they use. They are the Humpty Dumptys of modern cultural discourse. You know the quotation I’m alluding to, from Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking Glass. This is what “public education” has brought us.

Eventually, the mincing machine breaks down, and you get the sort of tired, stagnant, half-hearted pretending sort of dullness that was the post 60’s Soviet Union, which eventually collapses.
If they succeeded in doing that to the US, the collapse would come a lot sooner. It would have to, because unlike Russia and China, there wouldn’t be a functioning USA to prop up what passes for an “economy” in communist dictatorships.
