She going on 16 years and probably the sweetest cat I ever had. She did not meow until about 5 years ago, before that she just made weird noises.

I have three cats (all male, ~16, ~12, ~6) and the middle one will do some howling against unseen enemies, but he doesn’t meow — he sort of opens his mouth and utters a little “ek.” He is the sweetest cat ever and I doubt I’ll ever find another like him. >^..^<
I’ll be sure to share this with my wife. She’s been on my butt to ask the vet why our 2-year-old cat doesn’t meow, he just goes “meep”. That and a very breathy “haaaaaa”. He does hiss, sort of like “HAAAAAA”. 🙂
