I don’t understand the reason for this bill in Florida. As far as I know there is no GOVERNMENT restriction on CCW in churches.
Someone help me out here.
The issue is many churches offer some sort of school in their properties, may it be a kindergarten or Adult Education and that creates a conflict that has been largely ignored, but some idiots on the other side started to make noise about. This is to simply say “Yes, you can carry in church when worshipping and not worry about having a classroom attached to the building.”.
