I would think that many Guard medical personnel come from the same pool as currently employed medical personnel. How much overlap?
My thought exactly. Someone military-trained in medicine — a doctor or nurse while on active duty — isn’t going to be taking fast food orders while on reserve duty.
They’ll be — wait for it — a doctor or nurse in civilian life, too.
So if you fire all the civilian doctors and nurses, and then activate the NG, how many doctors and nurses are you really getting?
I suspect the number will be vanishingly small.
So, gov has , what, +/- 20,000 NG docs/nurses?

So what happens when you pull them away from their real jobs?
That lady is an idiot.
And if a person is a doctor or nurse in the NG, they’re probably a doctor or nurse in civilian life. The training translates over, so there’s no reason to expect them to take lesser-paying jobs when they qualify for more.
So when she fires all the doctors and nurses — some of whom are NG — and then activates the NG, how many will she get to “replace” the ones she just fired?

Just use the Judge Advocate Geeneral personnel. JAGs are experts at everything according to JAGs themselves, and Hollywood TV series too.

If Trump had won reelection, she’d be primed to be the next Dem candidate for President.
But Trump didn’t win (yeah, I know … work with me here), and so she’d have to unseat Joe Biden. Which is not going to happen.
I hope those tire marks wash out, after they throw her under the bus.
If Trump won the allegations against the previous Governor would of never seen the light of day as the media would of kept treating him as the anti-Trump messiah.
No, Andrew Cuomo would have been primed to be the next candidate. Cuomo picked her as Lt Gov because his numbers in upstate were abysmal. It was a cynical move, it wasn’t based on her qualifications. This is a woman who once was endorsed by the NRA and opposed driver licenses for illegal aliens. She’s a political chameleon. But anyway, had Trump been allowed to win, Cuomo would still be the darling. Once Biden was installed with Kamala, there was no place Cuomo fit into the puzzle, so they discarded him.
