Yes, because we need to put a stop to all those Drive-By-“Saberings” we keep seeing in the news.
And we need to stop the light saber loophole that allows the unregulated sale of such dangerous devices as they can be bought at any store like they were toys.
I wonder, does being that stupid come with pain? It really should.
With the light sabers, I’m betting it’s something much more innocuous. Namely that most of them have lights and sound, and you know that there will be more than a few morons being a nuisance waving them around with lights and sound going.
…But the only thing that stops a Sith Lord with a lightsaber, is a Jedi with a lightsaber…
I heard that there are about 2.5 million defensive uses of light sabers to stop the Dark Side every year. Many times the Jedi doesn’t even have to activate it.
The main reason for Jedis to manufacture their own light sabers is so that they can resist Imperial oppression if the Old Republic ever becomes despotic and builds a Death Star.
I don’t think I’d be going. I can’t recall the last time I went to a movie and wasn’t carrying. I don’t get to many movies (don’t like many movies…) but the two theaters I go to are fine with concealed carry.
