Biden is struggling to win Miami Latinos, new poll finds. Will it cost him Florida?
Four years after getting trounced in Miami-Dade County by Hillary Clinton, President Donald Trump has increased his odds of victory in his must-win home state on Nov. 3 by improving his standing in Florida’s most populous county, according to a poll by Bendixen & Amandi International and the Miami Herald.
The poll of 500 likely Miami-Dade voters, released Tuesday, found Trump far behind Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden 38% to 55% in Miami-Dade, where Democrats typically need to run up the score in order to compete in statewide races.
But the poll found the former vice president splitting Hispanic voters with Trump, with Trump at 47% and Biden at 46%. Those numbers — based on smaller polling subsets with larger margins of error — are driven by Trump’s increased support among conservative leaning Cuban-Americans, who supported Trump over Biden in the poll by a crushing 38 points. Just eight years ago, those voters roughly split their votes between Republican nominee Mitt Romney and former President Barack Obama.
“Democrats are potentially leaving Cuban votes on the table that they won in the past, which could very well make a difference in a state as tight as Florida,” said Amandi, whose firm produced Spanish-language ads for the 2012 Obama campaign.
Again, let me spell this out for the Democrats/Liberals/Progressives/Leftist:
“Latino” is a bullshit category. Assuming people have homogenous political views because of the color of their skin is racist.
Hispanic people in Miami come from lots of different national backgrounds which affects their political outlook.
Biden and Harris have excused supported BLM and excused Antifa. They siding with open Marxists using Marxist tactics.
Cubans in Miami, who floated 90 miles across shark-infested waters on a raft made out of garbage to escape a Communist country are not likely to support a candidate who supports a fund to bail rioting Communists out of jail.
I can’t wait for Biden to shake hands with some rioter in a Che shirt thinking that’s a good idea. Miami Cubans will go after Biden activists with machetes.
My understanding is that Cuban Americans in Florida voted almost 2 to 1 for Trump in 2016 (feel free to fact check me), which gave the state to Trump.
After the election, before he left office, one of Obama’s last acts was to repeal the “wet foot/dry foot” policy that allowed Cubans to claim political asylum. It was payback. I can’t imagine that’s lost on many of the same voters and their families.

Most people of hispanic background who immigrated legally to the US were/are escaping the exact same communist bullshit the DemonKKKrats have been/are pushing since the mid 90’s (by my reckoning): political correctness, violent protests, riots, poor quality of life, politburu shenanigans, government extreme big brotherism, overall chaos for mundanes while polikritters are a protected class, thought policing, public school kids brainwashing (cuz that’s what it is IMO), etc.
