In case you didn’t know, the US Mint is doing a run on Women’s Quarters.

Authorized by Public Law 116-330, the American Women Quarters Program features coins with reverse (tails) designs emblematic of the accomplishments and contributions of trailblazing American women. Beginning in 2022 and continuing through 2025, the Mint will issue five quarters in each of these years. The ethnically, racially, and geographically diverse group of individuals honored through this program reflects a wide range of accomplishments and fields, including suffrage, civil rights, abolition, government, humanities, science, space, and the arts. The additional honorees in 2022 are physicist and first woman astronaut Dr. Sally Ride; Wilma Mankiller, the first female principal chief of the Cherokee Nation and an activist for Native American and women’s rights; Nina Otero-Warren, a leader in New Mexico’s suffrage movement and the first female superintendent of Santa Fe public schools; and Anna May Wong, the first Chinese American film star in Hollywood, who achieved international success despite racism and discrimination.

What a woke list of women to be put on the currency.

I fundamentally do not understand what the deal is with Maya Angelo, why she is revered as she is.

Sally Ride I know as the first female astronaut.

The rest?  I’ve never heard of them.

What I  sure if is that you won’t see Sandra Day O’Connor on a US quarter.

But here is where this gets tragically funny.

A quarter with a woman on it is only worth 93% as much quarter with just a man on it.

Thanks Biden.

  1. I don’t want my money to preach at me.

I want it to buy things, and to be worth tomorrow about what is was worth yesterday.

And also, telling little girls that their highest achievements in life might be commemorated by being a “tail?” Seriously?

  2. First it was DC and the 50 states, then the US territories, then the national parks and landmarks. Washington crossing the Delaware river was a good one. I even have some of the big 5 ounce silver versions of the national park ones. Each one goes for like $200 now. They could have Don another 58 national parks or landmarks but they went with this instead.

To bad they can’t take off George Washington of the quarter. That horrible male white supremacist slave owner that helped create the thing the left and Democrats hate above all other things and want destroyed on every level and despise it’s very inception: The United States of America. Did I mention he was a while male? I’m being sarcastic by the way but you know they think this way.

Remember when they wanted to take Andrew Jackson off the $20 bill and put on Harriet Tubman. At least people knew who she was and was an actual positive story to her. That of course fell flat. Guess this is the woker stupider alternative / consolation prize.

  3. Ok,

We need to get Caitlyn Jenner on a female quarter. (I would settle for Decathlete Bruce Jenner on the Famous Athlete Series) Next, the first trans gender female Olympic Champion.

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
