I can swear with the best of them in English, having spent my entire adult working life in a foundry. When I was a kid, my uncle, an Army lifer taught me a bunch of German cuss words, which were fun to use at my elementary school. Sadly, I don’t remember any of them now.
I will never forget my uncle though. One of my dad’s many brothers, he served in both Korea and Vietnam. He was truly a cool dude, full of stories, and more than a bit of BS. He died from lung cancer, being a lifelong smoker. My siblings like to blame it on Agent Orange from his days in Vietnam, but that is a hard sell. I am just glad that he and my dad, mom and the rest of my family are not around to see what has happened to our once great nation.
