Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

  1. I hate Facebook, I hate the people running it, and I hate the censorship of conservatives. But I also don’t think we’re quite at this point yet. If people were paying for Facebook, maybe. I know they have a stranglehold on social media and are capable of a toxic influence (as is Google), but the phone company was often the only game in town for phone service. However I can screw around on the internet and never use Facebook or Google. Just my two cents.

    1. You pay no matter what you do on the internet, just with your data.

Just because you don’t go to google.com doesn’t meet Google isn’t serving up adds on another site and so on and so forth.

  2. You are NOT paying for a “service” from FaceBook. They have the right to be assholes. ‘Merica and all that. Need ALTERNATIVES. Oh, F*ck Obama too.

  3. How much do you pay for Facebook?

    Nothing!

You know how they stay in business if you pay them nothing?

You are NOT the customer. YOU ARE THE PRODUCT!!!!

Facebook is selling your data to any that will pay the money.
Same with Google, Twitter, Youtube and all the others.
They are selling you and your children to not the highest bidder, but any bidder, and anyone the buyer can sell the same information to.

  4. So, if the phone service was ‘free’ but we had to hear ads then they could cancel service because they didn’t like what they talked about?

And there is nothing stopping anyone and everyone from getting their own utility easements and/or cell towers for comm and server farms to make their own Facebook.
