Hey! It’s working again for me, too! Yay!
I still don’t understand why your server would be messing up the content encoding (a) only for real browsers and not for wget, and (b) for multiple browsers on different OSes and different machines, but not for a nominally-identical browser on a different machine on the same network.
(Which reminds me that I still haven’t addressed a year-and-a-half-old configuration issue on my Apache server, but then I’m not publishing anything important on that one.)
