This is great:

It’s the story of the Game Stop (GME) short sale sabotage done in the style of an Irish folk song that borrows heavily from The Rising of the Moon.

I consider this to be highly appropriate considering that so many Irish folk songs are about the poor Irish rising up against the oppression of the English monarchy.

In this case it’s poor Redditers rising up against the elite brokerage firms.

I love it.

  1. Speaking of Irish songs, have you ever heard “Rock on Rockall” (by the Wolfe Tones)? It’s a nicely constructed song, and it also teaches some quite obscure geography. I’m a geography nut but I still had to look up Rockall (and you need quite a good atlas to find it, though of course nowadays Wikipedia will fill in nicely).

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
