2. As much as we bemoan open carriers, long gun carriers in particular, you do have to give them some credit for helping move the needle on the conversation.

   Where previously the anti-rights crowd were aiming to do away with concealed carry, they’re now often advocating it. I’ve noticed that they’re even increasingly tolerant of open carry of pistols.

   This actually brought back a strange memory for me. When I was deployed in Iraq, when I visited the larger FOBs, you would see mostly admin types had acquired these covers for their rifles, normally in desert camo with some Arabic script which would cover the entire receiver of the rifle. There would also be this matching fabric shower-cap looking thing covering the flash suppressor. I’m assuming it was to reduce the number of times that the owner would have to clean their weapon.
   It covered everything and made the weapon useless until you “undressed” it, which considering the people who used them might have been for the best in the long run.

5. So they shop at Target… where an inside/outside organized crime ring:

   And Safeway, which failed to tell consumers about recalls.

   So in objection to Kroger following the laws that apply to every store, they’ll put themselves at higher risk of identity theft, credit card fraud, and food poisoning.
