The importance of knowing the subject matter you are addressing cannot be overstated. If you are gonna fight to keep Schools safe from Bad Things Happening by Keeping Guns Away from School, you should not post an article where the response is Good Guys With Guns.

I had asked last week about a small CC flap that had happened with Gov Scott. I finally found the article and wanted to share it with you.
Seems it was of a very local Brevard nature and may not have gotten wider coverage.

Thanks! It is not uncommon for security details to ask that CC leave the guns somewhere else. Even so, the smart ones will look for people carrying guns and “interview” them to determine threat level. The ProArms podcast had an interview with somebody who was in the personal security business (John something… I can’t remember. Gail is gonna kill me) and he went over what is they do (not all, of course) to make sure you are not some crazy with evil intentions.
From what I read in the article, it was a case of over protection and mental farts. Probably no Mens rea attached to it. 🙂
