As you probably have seen, gun bills (good and very bad) are already being introduced for next year’s legislative session in our fair state. Last year I saw not very much informative action on the part of our alleged State Gun Right groups while the Opposition was constantly bombarding us with their side of the bullcrap.
I don’t have the inside track on anything, so I am just going to do the same stuff I did last year: Daily read of the bill’s list in both chambers and keep my fellow Floridians informed. If there are other blogs doing the same thing, let me know so we can get our forces added to the fight.
I will wait till November-December to redo (if necessary) the lists of House and Senate Members and ways to contact them. I reckon by them, any changes would be et in stone and I don’t need to issue correction.

I don’t live in Florida, nor is it on the list of potential retirement spots for Mrs B and me.

Do not apologize to your readers for focusing on your State. We all need to do the same thing, and if an idiot in your legislature is proposing something phenomenally stupid, I will bet ever dollar in my wallet, a parallel idiot in my legislature will try to do the same thing.
I for one appreciate the alert, and the analysis. Even if I get lucky and none of the bills you focus on get an equivalent in my state, it is worth watching and reading.
Thank you for bringing these bills to our attention. What happens in Florida is duplicated up here. I called our governors office last week to talk to him about some bills headed to his desk.
