   Imagine your Independence Day BBQ when you set that off while your neighbors have sparklers. You’d probably want to use blanks though… Basically just use about 100 grains, at a start, then use tissue paper on top of it, light it, and take a few steps back. Want bigger bang? Just add more powder, or pack it tighter.

   Though if you really really want a Howdah, just buy a beater replica 20 gauge muzzle loading shotgun and take a saw to it. That’s basically how your poorer officers in the British army in India made theirs.

      1. Muzzle loader people are kind of like the crazy uncle no one ever talks about in the gun culture. But they have some pretty cool toys. LeMats and Howdah’s are just the beginning. Wait till you get into hyper accurate Chunk guns, which are basically a 5 or 6 foot long muzzle loader with a bull barrel as thick as coke can that can send a .50 caliber round ball with sub MOA accuracy.

         Also, Dixie gun works has more than just muzzleloader stuff.

         For the price of a new car, you too can have a working .22 caliber gatling gun.
