I agree with everything he said, but he should have also driven home the point that the violation of Due Process is a 5th Amendment issue. The fact they are trying to infringe on both 2A and 5A rights makes them look even more Statist with this issue.
I think we should skip the 8th Amendment as Mr. Gowdy mentioned for all of the Democrat clowns that have proposed this axiomatically unConstitutional approach.
