This place is a couple of miles from where I live. We order from a chinese restaurant in the same strip mall regularly and I usually stroll around outside waiting for my order. The wife is the smart one and stays inside the restaurant.
Some years back I had an incident happen to me there where some idiot thought I might be a good mark because I looked like an easy target (I was sick on the way to see a doctor) and got the surprise of his life. Ever since I have been wary of that particular shopping area.
Our area is not crime ridden by any stretch of the imagination, but we do not decide what crimes should happen where and to whom. Always expect some jerk to screw with the stats and rise the crime index.
This is what we have been trying to tell all the Bradyites. You never know where crime will strike. We had a home invasion a while back about 2 blocks from us. The Goblins duct taped the victims to chairs while they ransacked their home. They never come to my house. I wonder if it’s all the pro gun stickers on the back of my truck?
Tell me about. My truck got rifled through a couple weeks ago during the wee hours of the morning [I got woke up out of a sound sleep after only getting 2…maybe 3hrs of it at the point they woke me up] by the cops knocking on my door to tell me that the little turds had been going through my truck. I went out later that morning…went and spent more than 12hrs helping a friend move and…shortly after I got home discovered there was a SWAT stand off around the corner on the street behind me. *headdesk*
They have unicorns tied upfront. Everybody knows unicorns are great home protection.
