Clinton’s stumble could create an opening for another favorite gun-control crusader, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who is weighing a third-party bid for president.“Of course, Bloomberg has been very helpful on our issue, and we would see (his possible candidacy) as a good thing,” said Ron Pinciaro, executive director of Connecticut Against Gun Violence.
A Bloomberg spokesman did not respond to a request for comment.

As a Third Party candidate attracting the Gun Control Vote? This would be a gift from heaven for whomever ends up candidate for the Republicans.

For Second Amendment advocates? Having the American people slap the “tiny  nasty little fascist” in the face demonstrating that Gun Control is only an issue for some minuscule minority, would be just peachy. And even though Bloomberg handlers would make his candidacy about economy/healthcare/taxes/etc, he is placed his candles on the issue of Gun Control and that is what he will be known for.

Now, do I think he will run? It depends. Both Hillary and Sanders have more name recognition and as long as Hillary does not drop out of the race to model orange rompers, Bloomie will remain Third Party. However if Hillary suddenly travels to a country without extradition, I could see the Democratic Party calling on Bloomberg and throwing every piece of support behind him.  He would still lose, but not as comfortable.

That is what I thought and I could be wrong as my beloved wife is so fond of telling me.

  1. The mad dwarf wants to be king. With pretty much every gun owner in the country knowing who he is, it could turn into a interesting race. Especially if Hillary and her helper Humid Wiener are indicted.

Of course if he runs third party, can you say Ross Perot? I knew you could. Of course this time he would bleed off democrat votes and help our side. He’s praying for Hillary to be indicted and running against Sanders. There’s a great choice, a commie or a fascist. Maybe he’ll pick Shannon Watts for a running mate. That’s a pair.

About the only way we can lose if if they GOP screws up the convention and decides we need another Bush to run. Trumps a loud mouth that I have trust issues with. Remember Kerry and his “I was for it before I was against it”? It wasn’t that long ago that he was all about banning so called assault weapons and high capacity (standard) magazines. Now he’s all for the Second Amendment?

Personally, I like Ted Cruz, but the establishment hates him.

    Yep, it could get interesting.

  2. Cruz doesn’t compromise on the constitution like the Republicans do most everyday, not that the democrats do anything but ignore it. They would hate to have to follow limits while playing fast and loose with our rights and money. Plus one for Ted

  3. “Draft Bloobmerg” as the same problems “Draft Biden” has: many states have calendar limits to getting on the ballot, and if the DNC thinks it can face down both the Sandersistas and the few remaining sane Democrats with a candidate who never debated the other candidates and never stood in a primary (or missed most of the state primaries), and bigfoot him on in above a candidate who has… in a party where the idea of “I should get my way BECAUSE I WANT IT!” is enshrined as the most noble of virtues… well, let’s just say I’ll be bringing the popcorn.

  4. Just to be precise, Michael Bane calls him “that nasty little fascist”, not tiny (I should say, I’ve never heard it, so it doesn’t exist) 😀 I call him that “fascist prick” or “the most dependable asshole in politics”. But I haven’t trademarked those. In fact I welcome everyone to call Bloomberg either one – or both! – of those. Until the search engines always return those terms with the name Bloomberg.

  5. Bloomberg is just another loud mouth wannabe king idiots because he doesn’t think anyone has the right to think for them selves. The liberals don’t mind being mindless puppets but the rest of us do.He should be flushed in the mindless cesspool he controls.
