I’m at once surprised he wasn’t’ shot, and also disappointed that’s the first thing we all think about being a forgone conclusion when someone mouths off to a cop…
It’s not the mouthing off, it’s the aggressive move towards the cop. The cop has no idea what that guy will do once he gets within range. he seemed a bit pissed so anything could have been possible.
+1 Cops are people. I don’t like angry people closing distance with me either.
