IANAL, but I do believe Hammer Guy can legally be stopped with deadly force.

And where were the cops? I think by the time this happened, Antifa/Portland Police was already beating retreat after pretending to be doing crowd control for a while.

I am waiting for the moment that Antifa realizes they can pretty much stop beating Proud Boys and start a lucrative business of “Protection” against the local business and with the full blessings of the local government.

  1. For their own safety, I hope Antifa stays out of Texas. If someone tried to use a deadly weapon like a hammer on me, I would feel obliged to stop them. The way they keep pushing things, I believe there will soon be some injured or dead Antifa thugs.

    1. Really this applies to most of the rest of the country. Outside of Portland and a few other metropolitan liberal sewers, ANTIFA doesn’t have any support or protection. They can only get away with the shit they pull in Portland because the mayor there supports them. As an aside, it’s got to be soul-withering, emasculating, and incredibly disheartening to be a cop in Portland.

  2. I don’t think Antifa or the traitor cops helping them terrorize the innocent have properly weighed the strength (or viciousness) of the backlash they’re setting themselves up for.

  3. wizardpc has it right. the antis actually disarmed the American Guard guys on the bus and then used it against them.

Also, American Guard is a violent neo-nazi organization recognized by the ADL.

Just so you get the whole picture…

    1. I missed that and I apologize, but that does not give the Antifa guy a freebie to use the hammer in a deadly force manner.

“American Guard is a violent neo-nazi organization”
PS: We need a third group high a top buildings and just start having fun with all the assholes down there. I am thinking paintball guns loaded with pepper balls… yes, available for civilian use. Not cheap though.

    2. 1) Never heard of “American Guard”. I take it those two short busses hold their entire membership?

      2) Other reporting on yesterday’s events only mention Proud Boys, and NONE of them were violent. Antifa was armed and violent all day; for that reason, I suspect the hammer came with them.

      3) Even if the bus was full of neo-Nazis, using the hammer for vandalism after supposedly taking it from one of them makes you the aggressor, not the defender.

  4. Plus even if they took it from the guys on the bus, Antifa was the one that was attacking. They can use the hammer in self-defense. Antifa taking it and using it is still assault.

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
