Semi-retired like Vito Corleone before the heart attack. Consiglieri to J.Kb and AWA. I lived in a Gun Control Paradise: It sucked and got people killed. I do believe that Freedom scares the political elites.

  1. Ironic…
When I’m feeling wound up from the day’s events, going to the range and putting a box through any of my firearms always calms me down and puts a smile on my face.
They seriously don’t know what they’re missing.

  2. Well unlike them, I actually do practice nonviolence.

I believe firmly in exhausting every reasonable diplomatic solution before turning to violent ones, and I haven’t hit someone outside of a friendly sparring match since high-school. I’m not afraid that I’ll misuse my guns, because I’m an adult and I have more self-control than that.

When all reasonable nonviolent options have been exhausted, however, I believe on coming down on the antagonist like a ton of bricks. Not because I’m an inherently violent person(though I admit that it can feel very cathartic), but because I want to make an example of what happens when you push me to violence, so that people will be disinclined to do so in the future, thereby reducing future violence.

Of course, this is true of most gun owners.

  3. I’m a very non-violent person, and while I’m amused by violent fiction, I abhor real violence.

Still peace takes two willing parties, war only takes one. If somebody wants to do violence on me, that’s their choice and they can enjoy the consequences.

  4. The more I read from the anti-gun crowd, the more convinced I am that they are afraid of what they would do with guns (shoot people), and are projecting that onto people who are not mentally unstable.

  5. No gun-grabbers are “non-violent”. They are extremely violent, each and every one. They’d use violence to render everyone defenseless, at the mercy of the strongest thugs around. Their “anti-violence” would lead to a civil war at the least, to genocide if you take their rhetoric seriously.

  6. That Craig Mueller fellow really, really scares me. He’s apparantly a ball of hatred and violence, waiting to explode if given the slightest opportunity.

And he’s allowed to roam freely, drive an automobile, and buy gasolene? Sheesh. . .

He’s (by his own admission) only one bad day from a mass arson or “drive through a crowd at 50mph mass murder. . .
