    1. I have a big ass can of Shooter’s Choice Quick Scrub ready to go. Can I park the truck next to my shooting position? I am gonna have to take half my shooting accesories 😀

  1. I would also recommend switching out the sling with a USGI sling. It’s made to quickly detach from the buttstock while remaining attached to the front, to make it possible to use it as a “loop sling”. You can use a two point sling, but won’t be able to do that part.

The aerosol CLP will be a big help- those 22s get pretty dirty/sludgy after a while.

A small thing if you have one- a rubbermaid style tote is handy to have. It keeps your stuff out of the sun and rain, and can be used as a small table while you prep magazines or do whatever else.

    Enjoy your Appleseed!

  2. Maybe add inexpensive elbow pads to the tool bag?
I’ve found that my senior citizen skin keeps getting more fragile.

My wife and I had a great time at an Appleseed event.

  3. Agree with wizardpc and T – camping mat and USGI sling are both essentials. Elbow pads are also a great idea. Try out your rig shooting prone – eye relief isn’t an issue shooting from a bench, but… Oh, and recommend have aspirin or ibuprofen for later. Lots.

    1. We’ve been told by various doctors that ibuprofen can be taken preventively, and that works well. (The example was “at the start of a day of hard skiing” but it would make sense here, too.)

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
