What a moron! Americans and Brits had less casualties in WW2 than Russia and China because they had BETTER weapons and BETTER strategies. Moreover, this moron forgets to mention that right after WW2, Communist China and Communist Russia both murdered millions of their own citizens who failed to comply to their dictatorial ideologies.
Schrödinger’s Soviet: The CCCP was a communist state when it was killing Nazi soldiers, but when it was killing its own citizens (and the populations of occupied Poland, East Germany, et. al.) then all of the sudden “the Soviet Union wasn’t true communism.”
Hmm, so even by his own logic he’s got it wrong. Europe had at least 6 million Jews and another 3 Million (?) others that died fighting the Nazi’s.

When you watch the movie _Enemy At the Gates_ you can get a feel for what it was like for most Russian solders. A bunch of men, herded into transports, taking fire and unarmed. They were unarmed so they didn’t shoot their guards/superiors.
Then we get to the point of issue. A man is handed a rifle and 5 rounds in a stripper clip. The next guy is handed 5 rounds in a stripper clip. “When the first man falls, pick up his rifle and keep going!”
There is a time when you must throw bodies into the battle. You know that many will die in the process. But you need that beachhead. You need to advance. Once you have taken that objective, you reinforce and keep moving forward.
We threw bodies into the landing at Normandy. The Russians threw bodies into it at almost every turn during the war.
This near human is the same sort of *BLEEP* that says that Israel is the bad person because more terrorists died than Israel’s when Israel responds to unprovoked attacks. “Israel must give Iron Dome to the terrorists because it’s noooot fairrrrr that more Israel’s aren’t dying.”

Stalin repeatedly threatened to make peace with the Nazis if the US didn’t continue to feed and arm the Red Army. The Soviets were careful not to show them in the propaganda pictures, but they depended on a lot of American and British tanks, trucks, aircraft, and munitions.
And, of course, before Barbarossa, the Russians were selling the Nazis train loads of petroleum and letting them use Russian bases for practicing tank tactics.
And the Chinese were much more interested in fighting each other than in fighting the Japanese.
It’s also worth remembering that the USSR refused to declare war on Japan until just a few days before the Japanese surrender, after Japan had already been defeated. Stalin didn’t want to help the USA, but he wanted the last second declaration of war as an excuse to seize the Kuril islands.
If I may quote General Patton:
“No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country”.

I read a “war journal” of a German tank ace. I managed to keep from vomiting when he was praising the members of an SS unit, and finished the book.
He *hated* fighting Americans. He whined and moaned that we didn’t “fight properly”, and that 1 Soviet soldier was worth 20 Americans. Paying attention to what he was describing, though, it was clear he was ticked off we wouldn’t line up and march across open ground in front of his guns.
He was posted around some city — and the US forces went around. His unit got spotted — US forces called in airpower and artillery.
The stupid the leftist display never ceases to amaze me.
No one killed more Soviets than the Soviets.
Just like no one has killed or is going to kill more American citizens than the Democrats.
