I’ve had that as a kid ( w/o the olives), it was ok… Better is with leftover salmon instead of the tuna.
The parsley is probably the only thing I can eat, due to both diet and MSG allergy.
So, Chicken of the Sea and waffles?

I’m pretty sure I’d have walked away from that one as a kid. At least Tuna Helper (at the time) looked a bit more palatable.
Waffles don’t deserve to be treated that way.
Somewhere out there is a whole series on strange dishes from the 40’s and 50’s you could find in magazines sponsored by a maker of one of the ingredients like this.
Tastes have definitely changed over the years.
