Maybe Jewish journalists know that Jew-haters won’t talk to them if they (the interviewee) knew that they (the Jewish journalist) was Jewish.

Remember how we saw multiple Olympians in Muslim countries forfeit rather than compete against an Israeli Jew?

That in media.

The fix for this is apparently making Jewish journalists wear yellow stars when they conduct interviews.

Yup, solid plan.

  1. What I’d do is assure the guy I was totally not Jewish.

By snacking on pork rinds during the interview.

See if I can get him to twitch, especially if I ask him if he wants one 😀

  2. I imagine the life expectancy of an identified Israeli journalist interviewing the Taliban spokesman would be measured in minutes.

  3. So, let me see if I have this correct.

Someone gets interviewed by a news reporter, and does not ask what TV station/newspaper/website they are with? And, somehow it is the news reporter’s problem?

  4. Even worse…someone gets declared a traitor and their life is at risk because they allowed themselves to be interviewed by an Israeli reporter and that’s the reporters fault?

How about “It’s outrageous that this culture would threaten the life of one of their own members just because they appeared in an interview (knowingly or not) with a media member that the culture disapproves of…this is obviously a barbaric culture that should rightly be shunned by civilized society.”

Makes a heck of a lot more sense than blaming the reporter for the reaction of the mob.

    1. In the case of the Taliban dude, that was, unfortunately, not the consequence. He’s an official, he’s not suffering for this, other than perhaps a bit of embarrassment and heckling from his fellow terrorists.

Only one rule: Don't be a dick.
