I guess you might have heard that President Obama signed the Defense Spending Bill late night the day before Thanksgiving and that the bill had a provision that allowed for 100,000 surplus M1911 and M1911A1 .45 ACP pistols to be sold via the Civilian Marksmanship Program. There is a great probability that some great collection pieces might be inside that lot and 1911 fans are chomping hard at the idea.
But… Not a peep from the Gun Control groups so far. At time of publication, CSGV, Moms Demand and Everytown are active and posting, but not a single mention that the President is allowing 100,000 high power, assault weapon pistols with assault clips to be sold without Universal Background Checks to terrorists in the watch-list, insurrectionists, drug dealers and gun nuts that will mow down a school full of kids and nuns. The other groups show no activity so far, I am guessing they are still digesting the turkey.
Maybe they haven’t heard yet. Anyway and since it is Black Friday, there should be a nice sale on Liberal Tears anytime soon, if not going on as I post (10:30 am).

I can only imagine the CSGV interns who are working on Black Friday, trying to research how many mass killers have been members of CMP clubs. But that has to be a better assignment than the ones brainstorming how best to diss Teddy Roosevelt.
